No, like all of my natural stone jewelry, my stacked earrings are designed to be easy to wear and easy to care for. Just make sure you’re following general good practice for caring for jewelry, like having good storage practices, avoiding hitting or impacting jewelry, don’t tug on your jewelry, and avoid getting jewelry wet when it isn’t necessary.
There are a lot of trends out there right now using ultrasonic liquid cleaners on jewelry. I don’t recommend this for any jewelry because you never know when a gem or a stone might have micro-fractures or other defects that can break apart when exposed to ultrasonic vibration.
Yes, like all of my natural stone jewelry, my handmade stacked earrings are hypoallergenic. In fact, all of my handmade jewelry is hypoallergenic and nickel-free. As much as possible, yes. I try to make sure all of my natural stones and other jewelry supplies from eco-friendly suppliers. I also try to recycle and reuse materials whenever possible, including both my Sterling Silver and Copper materials.
I also use eco-friendly packaging whenever possible, so that shipping also doesn’t have as much of a carbon impact.
